Features:Acquisition of sensor parameters and convert to NME A2000 parametersUp to 18 sensors can be collectedThis unit turns your engine sensors into a NMEA2000 input device.The unit will work with single or twin engines.The unit will work with Euro or US standard Ohms inputs and converts them into standard NMEA sentences for each sensor.The unit will work with a single sensor or with a full set of sensors or any number between.The wiring from your sensors connects to the converter and the converter outputs to the NMEA networrk in standard NMEA format.The unit is highly water resistant and can be mounted in a sheltered position close to the engine or close to your helm.The unit has a single output so only needs a single drop cable to connect it to your NMEA backbone – no wiring loom. On many boats it will be cheaper to install one of these units than to fit a new wiring harness.The data from the unit can be used by NMEA data screens or NMEA gauges (see our other listings).There is no pre-installation work to do. take the wiring from your standard sensors run it to the unit and connect up. Take a drop cable from the unit to the backbone – job done.There is no software set up required (it is not possible to interact with the software in the unit).Balance between Tacho input and the device output is done through dim switches and is a one off adjustment.Tachometer input can be any flat pulse provider ( alternator.hall efect sensor.or other)The unit can be USA or Euro standard but can not cope with a mixture of inputs.The unit will need a single 12V input from your boat's system to display voltage. As with all NMEA systems it is 12V only. If your boat is 24V you will need traditional outputs to display voltage.The unit will consume about 400 miliamps from your NMEA system.
